LEZ MOON is a Queer Womxn event and community-building platform where everyone is welcome. The main event is LEZ OPEN THE MIC. It is more than a performance night—it's a ritual of radical self-expression. Hosted every other month in South Florida (currently at Palmyra Lounge in Wilton Manors), this curated open mic night offers a platform for emerging queer and gender-expansive artists, predominantly Black and brown womxn, to share spoken word, music, comedy, visual art, and storytelling in an environment where they are celebrated, not tokenized.
LEZ LINK is an extension of LEZ MOON. While performance and nightlife are central to cultural work, we know that community isn’t just built under stage lights—it’s also built in the daylight, over laughter, play, and shared discovery. LEZ LINK is a monthly daytime event series designed to deepen connection, inspire creativity, and offer lighter, joy-filled alternatives to party culture.
LEZ LINK events are hosted in playful, visually immersive venues like the Museum of Ice Cream, where attendees enjoy group experiences that blend art, movement, and fellowship. Each outing invites queer womxn and gender-expansive folks into safe, beautiful, and often nostalgic environments — where they can relax, be silly, and rediscover the power of childlike wonder in queer bodies.
